David Whiddon is a successful entrepreneur and former engineering firm owner with more than 25 years of leadership in the transportation infrastructure industry. Throughout his career, he developed and led utility engineering and grew practices within several national engineering firms before founding The Whiddon Group, where he built one of Texas’ most respected utility consulting firms. Ultimately, David partnered with Isaak Advisory Group to successfully complete the sale of his company through a competitive acquisition process.

Today, David brings that firsthand perspective to IAG’s clients. He understands the opportunities and challenges business owners face because he has lived them—from building a firm and developing client relationships to preparing for sale, evaluating buyers, navigating due diligence, and transitioning ownership. His advice is grounded in practical experience earned by sitting on both sides of the table.
