Ken Burns Jr., PE, brings more than 37 years of executive leadership experience in the infrastructure, transportation, and engineering industry. Over the course of his career, he has led large-scale operational, growth, and organizational initiatives for nationally recognized engineering and infrastructure firms.

Ken previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Atlas Technical Consultants, where he helped lead the company’s growth from $538M to $685M in revenue while overseeing the integration of 17 acquired companies into a unified national platform. Prior to Atlas, he served as COO of Atkins North America’s $800M Transportation & Infrastructure business, overseeing national operations, strategic growth initiatives, and a 2,500-person professional staff.

His experience includes operational leadership, organizational transformation, strategic growth planning, M&A integration, financial performance improvement, and leadership team development. Ken’s background aligns closely with IAG’s work helping architecture, engineering, and infrastructure firms strengthen operations, build scalable organizations, and create long-term enterprise value.
